You stay in control
Korvo does not let the chat model autonomously execute MCP tools. You run tools explicitly, and mutating or unannotated tools require an Allow once confirmation. Credentials and server settings are encrypted on-device; redirects are blocked to protect bearer tokens, and duplicate or credential-bearing URLs are rejected.

The academic roadmap targets tools that export .ris or .bib. Metadata reconciliation, DOI deduplication, review controls, and provenance must pass their entry gates before release.
